It’s Gold Cup Day!
Yesterday it was more back to business as usual for the PB Tips Machine. We were spot on in the first race.. and then nothing.
So here they are today:

We’re wobbling from HOLYWELL because of the rain and might land on ROAD TO RICHES (see today’s special newsletter for the Ten Commandments of the Gold Cup, and why these two horse fit the stats best.
We’re thinking SAM WINNER or THE GIANT BOLSTER for a place too.

Thursday (12th March)
So after Tuesday’s big favourites coming in; Wednesday was so much more a mixed bag.
And it was back to usual for the PB tips – one out of three – but what a one. Don Poli was incredibly impressive and one to watch for the future.
(Confession – we got tipped Dodging Bullets and Mr Mole in the big race but decided to go with Mr Mole because it’s a cool name. Sorry.)

Wednesday (11th March)
Well, yesterday was a bit of a rollercoaster day for the bookmakers. Four big Willie Mullins horses backed to the hilt, the first three all win their races – huge amounts of money are riding on the fourth favourite – and probably the biggest favourite of the day making it a complete set. And then Annie Power only went and fell at the final fence when she looked a certainty!
And an even bigger surprise – the three Popbitch tips all came in!
So here we are on Wednesday, and the biggest thing about the day is not connected to any of our tips. It’s about our very favourite horse, Sprinter Sacre. Since he took some time out to recover from heart problems, he just hasn’t looked the same. We’re not going to burden him with the Popbitch seal of approval but we’ll be sending all our good vibes anyway at 3.20 today.

Tuesday (10th March)
This is the first day of the festival, and possibly the very best day’s racing. Today everyone expects Willie Mullins to win everything. But will he? Our snouts at the course have given us this lot of info… We’ll update it as the day goes on.
We’ve conducted a survey of pretty much all the racing gurus we know (anonymously) and these are the top three tips of the day.
1. Champion Hurdle (3.20pm) – FAUGHEEN. He’s a big favourite though, so don’t thank us too much.
2. Champion Hurdle (3.20pm) – ARCTIC FIRE – each way.
3. Arkle (2.05pm) – JOSSES HILL – each way
